Bulbless! è lieta di presentarvi una super collezione di musica elettronica per videogiochi del compositore Vanni Miele, con la ristampa della soundtrack di "Puma Street Soccer" (uscito originariamente nel
1999) e un EP di bonus tracks tratte da "Chris Kamara's Street Soccer" (2000) ed R-Type (2004) che uscirnno sia in CD che in digitale il 20 Giugno. Nel CD è inclusa la Bonus Track "In Domine Gloriam Ex"

Vanni Miele è un compositore Beneventano che dagli anni 80 sperimenta nuove sonorità. Diplomato in contrabbasso e laureato in musica applicata ai contesti multimediali, docente
in varie università e autore di musica per teatro, mostre e installazioni ambientali. Il suo curriculum è ricco di esperienze musicali che passano dalla Rai, ai suoi album solisti, a band
come gli Zou Da Party, alle musiche per i media più disparati, oltre ad essere stato contrabbassista dell'orchestra del Festival di Sanremo (edizioni 2012 – 2016)

Dal 1996 al 2000 ha fatto parte del team italiano di "Pixelstorm", software house produttrice di videogiochi per PlayStation, Gameboy e PC. Dal 2000 al 2004 è stato consulente musicale, supervisore del settore musica ed effetti speciali e autore delle musiche originali per la Raylight Studios, software house italiana, creatrice di videogiochi e sviluppatore ufficiale Nintendo Game Boy Advance e Nintendo Game Cube con la quale, nel maggio del 2002, ha ricevuto l’Award “Best
of Technology” (all'Electronic Entertainment Expo di Los Angeles) per il videogioco “Wing Commander Prophecy” sviluppato per Destination Software (USA) e Electronic Arts (USA) su piattaforma Nintendo GameBoy Advance.

Il premio è dovuto a un sistema di "micropolifonia" per Gameboy Advance sviluppato da Vanni Miele insieme al team Raylight che gli consentiva, attraverso una tecnica mista di sintesi + microcampionamento, di ottenere una ricchezza di voci pur dovendo lavorare con file piccolissimi (sotto il Megabyte).

In quegli anni Vanni è passato dal comporre musica elettronica in altissima qualità al dover mixare le sue soundtrack attraverso gli speaker del Gameboy, attraversando di fatto
tutte le fasi storiche del gaming dagli anni 90' ad oggi. Tra i suoi lavori nell'ambito del gaming figurano soundtrack di videogiochi di culto come Puma Street Soccer, Chris Kamara's Street
Soccer, R-Type, Wing Commander Prophecy e tanti altri, e siamo felicissimi di poter condividere questi lavori incredibili con voi.

We at Bulbless! are really excited to announce a collection of electronic music tracks for videogames by the Italian composer Vanni Miele, we're reissuing "Puma Street Soccer" (that originally came out in 1999) and an EP of bonus tracks taken from "Chris Kamara's Street Soccer"
(2000) and "R-Type" (2004) that will be out both digitally and on limited edition CD on June 20th.
CD edition features the bonus track "In Domine Gloriam Ex"

Vanni Miele is a composer from Telese Terme (Benevento), southern Italy, he's been experimenting with sound since the 80's.
Vanni got a Conservatory diploma both in Double Bass and New Music
Technologies, is a teacher in multiple universities and a composer for theater, exhibitions and installations. His CV is full of experiences ranging from Italian broadcaster RAI to his solo albums,
including experiences as an electric bass player for cult band Zou Da Party and double-bass player for the Festival di Sanremo orchestra (editions 2012 - 2016)

From 1996 to 2000 Vanni was part of the "Pixelstorm" Italian team, making soundtracks for videogames on PlayStation, Gameboy and Computer. From 2000 to 2004 he was a composer for the Italian software house Raylight Studios,developing videogames for Nintendo Game Boy Advance and Nintendo Game Cube and winning a "Best of Technology" (Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles), in 2002 for
“Wing Commander Prophecy” developed for Destination Software (USA) and Electronic Arts (USA) on Nintendo GameBoy Advance.

The prize was due to a "micropoliphony" system developed by Vanni Miele and his team allowing him to compose music with multiple voices despite the limited memory those consoles had for music
(under 1MB).
Throughout those years, Vanni went from composing incredibly high quality electronic music to mixing his music through Gameboy speakers, going through all the stages of early gaming from the 90's leading to today's technologies.
His works in the gaming field include cult videogames such as Puma
Street Soccer, Chris Kamara's Street Soccer, R-Type, Wing Commander Prophecy and we're incredibly happy to share these amazing works with you.
